What you see is current as of the moment you open it. If the founder replaces a document, you see the replacement.
Every item says how it was checked
Every item shows its review status, the company's own lock, or a person's confirmation. AI checks recommend; a person decides. The wording is the same one the founder sees.
Scoped to you
The founder chose exactly which items you see and for how long. Your name is on the watermark. Other recipients see their own view.
No account, no cost
Open the link in any browser. Documents open from the live source, and there is nothing to install or pay for. When the founder allows it, download any file or the whole share as one zip for your diligence file.
Reading the score
The readiness score is calculated by Vanward from the items present, checked, and confirmed for the stage the company is raising at. It is a measure of preparedness and completeness, not a judgment of the business. Eight dimension markers show where the ground is solid and where gaps remain; the founder sees the same markers you do.
- Can I download the documents?
- When the founder allows it, yes: each file and the whole share as one zip, every page watermarked with your name and the time. On a view-only link, documents open in your browser from the live source and there is no download.
- Does the founder know I opened it?
- Yes. The founder sees when the link was opened and which items you viewed, the same way a proposal tool reports opens.
- What does "Vanward Verified" mean, exactly?
- An automated check gives a recommendation. A person at the company confirms the item, or the step’s reviewer signs off on a close reconciliation, before it is labeled verified. The label shows who confirmed it and when. It is not an audit and not a statement by Vanward about the company. The How it works page lists every mark.
- How is the company data protected?
- Each company sits behind its own boundary, files open through short-lived links from the current record, and every shared page carries a watermark. The Security page lists the commitments and the providers involved.
